Prompted by Thomas’ repeated apparitions to her, Rachael never accepts his loss. Leaving two young sons behind, she takers a pilgrimage to Sion with the hopes of freeing Thomas from his holds to this earth, and in doing so freeing her own heart to love again.
Rejected by Rachael, Thaddeus seeks absolution from the Church, by joining King Richard on his crusade against Sal-a-din. But the king is in no hurry to go to war; after diversions that set their travels back a year they arrive in Acre, where a two-year siege is at a stalemate. Rachael and Jahim land in Acre shortly after and Jahim takes Rachael to his Assassin Brothers at Sion and the witches. When word of Rachael’s arrival reaches Thaddeus, he deserts the army and his king to find her fighting for her life, and her very soul.
Ghosts of Hattin is the exciting conclusion to this portion of the series. It is full of adventure, lust, greed and redemption. I truly hope you enjoy it.

Another captivating tale, but again, marred by technical flaws: vocabulary (taught for taut, strait for straight, ensue for ensure, ore for oar...), and again, question marks after declarative sentences but not after some questions, which forced me to go back over what I had just read for clarification.. The storyline did get a little tangled and murky from about 2/3 - 3/4 of the way through, then sorted itself out again. This author is a very imaginative and captivating storyteller, but the errors she makes in vocabulary and punctuation could hinder the reader's enjoyment.

awesome read,,,read them all,,loved them,,need new one,,,Michael going to america would be great..
I was thinking of a novel based on historical fact but, found that was not always the case. The "Horns of Hattin" was a key element during the crusades. This novel did not fulfill that expectation. "PAX ROMANUS"
This whole series is amazing! I have been known to shed a tear on occasion while reading certain authors. However, this is a rare thing. This whole series had me crying like a baby. I have never felt for characters like I did here. Just amazing!!!!
What a fanstatic series. I have just finished the fifth and final book. It has been an incredible read from book one to book five. What a great story teller Deborah Hurni is. An author that has been overlooked. Incredable price too! This set of books comes into my top ten reads out of a libary of over 300 books! Highly recommended.
Another exciting book. What a great series. Bring it on Deborah. Really enjoyable reading. Thomas reminds me so much of Joshua, a true leader and a man of God.
A great sequel to the other two. Ties off all the ends and was wonderfully written. I do wish the proof reader did a better job with spelling and some grammar but the storyline was as enjoyable as the others. The paranormal scenes were well scripted and an inner knowledge of metaphysical matters has been touched on. I enjoyed it every much.
